This article has admonished me and has helped me prepare myself with much prayer and devotion before God takes me to the Next phase of my life. Thank you Mr Verwer, you have been a great source of encouragement and help since i met you in Korea. All Glory to God.

Excellent article! I love Kenya/Africa and I get very discouraged when short-termers come back to the US and make present ethnocentric reports that are extremely biased against my people. But those that God sends to missions (like George Viewer) make a real difference for the kingdom of God. Before going anywhere ask, \"Has God sent me?\"

Unfortunately, I was unable to read the article because my computer will not open pdf files. Would it be possible to send it as jpg or html? Thanks.Betty Holt (Isabel)

A very helpful resource to keep in mind as we look for Short term persons on Missions. May be George should also write 10 Short termers that we are looking for. Sam Paul

Spot on George.

Very helpful and to the point - a great guide to have with you when looking at possible team members for a mission trip. I think that a few of the "Mr"s could have been "Miss" "Mz" or "Mrs"!!

These are fine George, but you have used 'Mr' all the way through.
We had a 'Mrs Shopper' with us once. Never saw her from start to finish of the mission but she was a Pastor's wife!!!! I know your 'qualifications' also apply to the other gender!
